So, I realize that the only real time I have on my computer is now, right before Art History.
It will probably remain that way until 17 December, when my finals are over and I can take a breather. A much MUCH needed breather. Our final for 2-D is due on the 12th, but I'm not even halfway done and it's very demanding. I'm supposed to be about 80-90% done on Monday, for an in-progress critique. Last minute touch-ups and the final 10% are supposed to be finished on Tuesday for the turn-in on Wednesday. I'm going to try and finish it during my very busy weekend so that I don't have to do anything (except minor touch-ups) on Tuesday. Good luck with that, though, right? I have to work everyday this weekend, so I just have to make sure that I'm painting every minute that I'm not at work. There is no time to goof off this weekend, that's for sure.
I went to Blick yesterday and got a couple new paints, because I was out of Cadmium Orange and Cadmium Red Medium. Soft body acrylics should never exist. I swear it. This one chick who works at Blick still laughs with me every time I go in there, because she thinks that my professor should be horribly embarrassed of herself for telling us to get these. Jamie was totally lost when we went there because she insists that she has not one artistic bone in her body.
I think she's lying.
Class is in progress, so I think that I'll wrap this up. I'll let everyone know what's going on in the next couple of days. I'm aiming for tonight, but no promises!
